Version 6.1.0 (November 1st 2022)

Here’s what‘s new & improved in the latest 6.1 release:

• Employee Filtering-  A new option lets you filter out employees that reached their maximum weekly hours. 
• Receive employee information at a glance- A pop-up displaying an employee’s availability now appears when hovering over an employee’s name in the scheduling view.
• Newly added punch feature- You can now add a setup time on the punch adjustment screen.
• Visual improvements – Adjusted the visual display to provide a clearer picture of the subscription end date of your Voilà! Account.

Version 6.0 (October 12^th 2022)

Here’s what’s new & improved in the latest 6.0 release:

• Our latest task module is now available in beta. You can now add tasks to employee shifts and visually manage the workflow from start to finish. Heads up: This feature needs to be activated by an administrator.
• Our punch console got a facelift! The visual interface now provides a better employee and/or user experience.
• Save time on onboarding: Newly added employees will now be invited to open shifts with personalized invitation rules.
• Tailor your punch tolerances: When creating a shift, it is now possible to specify a punch tolerance different from that coming from the general parameters.
• Minimize errors: Modify a statutory holiday without it directly affecting employees that were previously excluded.
• Get your team in sync: Synchronization of employees between Folks and Voilà! has been improved to synchronize more properties.
• Better payroll support: Synchronization between Nethris/EmployerD and Voilà! when the Nethris/EmployerD account contains employees in several companies.
• Get precise on the numbers: Improved accuracy in calculating bonuses involving breaks and job experience.

Version 5.8 (August 18^th 2022)

• Premiums are now applied to the number of hours worked. Even when the scheduled work hour is less than the minimum required.

• A new punch rounding parameter allows you to selectively round up or down.
• New colors have been added to the position color palette.
• The employee export file in CSV format is now compatible for re-import.

• The gender of the employee can now be optionally entered in the employee profile.
• It is no longer necessary to enter a reason when refusing a replacement request or when canceling a shift.

• It is now possible to export holidays to HUMI.
• Employees showing interest in taking an open shift are now at the top of the list of invitations in the detail of a shift.
• In the timesheet view, the total paid leave no longer includes unpaid leave.

Version 5.6 (July 11th 2022)

• It is now possible to auto-assign shifts based on the invitation rule.
• A new auto-assignment setting allows you to assign all occurrences of a recurring shift to the same employee.
• A new setting in the advanced invitation rules allows you to choose the priority of invitations at the phase level. Invitation priority by group levels remains available as before.
• Employees can now give their preferred number of hours worked per pay period.
• When a holiday is created, the anticipated compensation is immediately displayed.
• A new “open shifts filled” filter has been added to the schedule report.
• The “approval of unscheduled shifts created by the employee” parameter is now split into two approval parameters depending on how these shifts are created. One parameter if they are created in the schedule and another parameter if they are created by the mobile or web punch.
• Companies that only wish to export banked vacation on the Nethris and EmployeurD payroll report can now do so by making a request to the support team.
• We have enriched our public API to include new endpoints including the creation and modification of employees, teams, positions and locations.
• It is now possible to export and import an invited sequence of employees when setting up a standard invitation rule.
• Fixed a bug in the calendar view when grouped by sub-locations. The location now displays correctly.
• Fixed a bug in the calendar view when grouped by locations. Excluded places from the filters are no longer displayed.
• Fixed a display bug displaying the premium amount in the “planned” section. When the premium is restricted to a specific time slot and an unpaid break is associated with the shift.
• Fixed a display bug in the conversation list. The avatar no longer displays the wrong person.
• Fixed a bug in the dashboard, changing the reference range (7, 30 or 90 days) now works.

Version 5.5 (June 15th 2022)

• A manager can now see the date and time of an employee’s last activity. The date is visible on an employee’s profile and report.
• Employees interested in an open shift and whose invitation mode is set to “everyone” are now displayed in order of the invitation responses.
• The list of employees invited to an open shift or replacement now shows a grouping separator as specified in the custom invitation rule.
• The “use planned break time when an employee does not clock their unpaid break” setting has been split into two settings to provide more flexibility. A parameter is applied if the employee has clocked a break that is too short and another one is applied if the employee has not clocked their break at all.
• A Voilà! administrator can now deactivate the timesheet module if their company doesn’t use it.
• A Voilà administrator can now deactivate the expense module if his company does not use it.
• New icons have been added to illustrate a vacation type.
• When reassigning a shift as a recurring replacement over several days, the reassignment only takes place on the selected day.
• Other general performance improvements.

Version 5.4 (Mai 30th 2022)

• Several new parameters have been added to leave types to support all of your company’s needs:
• Prevent a leave from being approved when the associated bank balance is insufficient.
• Prevent creating a leave request of this type when the associated bank balance is insufficient.
• Requirement of an entry of a leave value to be deducted
• Mandatory to add a reason
• Include the calculation of overtime
• Include the calculation of statutory holidays
• Hide the bank associated with this type of leave in the employee profile.
• Prevent submitting a leave request without specifying the team, position and location.
• Set a default action to apply to shifts impacted by the approval of a leave request
  
  
• A statutory holiday that has already been entered can now be edited, allowing you to change the parameters or assign it to other employees.
• It is now possible to add a leave request to an employee via the timesheet screen.
• Leave requests awaiting approval are now displayed on an employee’s timesheet.
• It is now possible to request time off from the shift detail screen. The leave request is automatically adjusted to the scheduled hours of the shift.
• Following the activation of the “automatic adjustment of paid breaks” parameter, the time of a paid break not taken is now added to the clocked working hours.
• A new company setting allows you to activate or not the questions asked during the punch in and out.
• An approved leave request shows the bank balance associated with it at the time it was made.
• In the planning view, a display option allows you to choose to display the groupings without shifts.
• The punch console pin can now be longer than 6 digits.
• It is now possible to put a note on a weekly bonus added to a timesheet

• It is now possible, via a CSV file, to import leave bank balances.
• A new company setting allows you to block the self-approval of a leave request associated with and created by a manager.
• In the timesheets, when an employee is absent on a shift, zero is now displayed as hours worked and not only the planned hours.
• When an automated exit punch is applied to a shift and the “automatic management of unpaid breaks” parameter is active, the scheduled break time is subtracted from the total time worked.
• The user experience of the shift management screen impacted by a leave approval has been improved.
• A manager can now add a comment when approving a leave request.
• When requesting leave, a proposed number of hours or days is displayed (varies based on the schedule of the employee requesting a leave).
• In the list of leave banks, an indicator has been added to indicate that this bank is synchronized with an external payroll system.
• Shifts with a variable end time are no longer automatically validated at punch out.
• New parameters into the integrated payroll systems of Nethris and EmployeurD allow you to convert hours into amounts (or vice versa )when exporting leave banks.
• In the schedule view, the selection mode is now automatically deactivated after applying a selected action.
• If a break has been specified with a start time and the employee has not clocked in or out, this break will be adjusted according to the scheduled break time.
• In the mobile version of the Voilà dashboard, an employee can now choose the number of days they want to see. The choices are 7, 30 or 90 days.
• An employee assigned to a non-clockable shift can now modify their hours worked as long as the shift is not approved.
• The 1/20 calculation of public holidays now includes the bonuses that impact the salary earned.
• An overtime rule can now be assigned to one or more employees.

Version 5.3 (May 3rd 2022)

• New fields have been added to an employee’s profile including their date of birth, address, primary and secondary emergency contact person.
• A manager can now add a shift note which will be visible to them as well as supervisors and administrators.
• It is now possible to make a standard invitation rule by specifying a custom reminder list.
• It is now possible to import expenses from a CSV file.
• A new company setting lets you hide the chat functionality from employees and/or managers.
• A new permission lets you choose to display the holidays of colleagues.
• A new permission lets you display colleagues’ availabilities 
• Total leave is now displayed in the time view.
• The calendar view now supports team grouping and shift copying between groupings.
• The hourly view per employee per day no longer exists. It’s been replaced by the daily calendar view which has been visually improved.
• Date selector now displays the first day of the calendar week according to company settings.
• When inserting a timetable template (in the timetable view, ), a preview of inserted shifts is shown to the user to prevent errors.
• In the time view, the contextual menu on a shift now offers an option to change it directly.
• In the hourly view, shift copy now also allows recurrence instances to be copied.
• In the timetable view, the visual of day notes and attached files have been improved.
• The list of company locations now displays if a place has sub-locations
• Selecting shifts is now possible in the calendar view grouped by position.
• In the “calendar” and “by employee” schedule views, the contextual menu on a shift now contains the “Change hours” action.
• When approving a leave request, in addition to applying specific actions on the affected shifts, it is possible to edit these shifts in order to change, for example, the time slot.
• For companies linked to Folks, accumulated overtime banks are now exported to Folks.

Version 5.2 (March 31 2022)

• Full Spanish language support. Voilà is now available in Spanish for the web console, web punch, and our iOS and Android versions of the app. The configuration of your company, which includes among other things positions, locations and teams, can now be in three languages: French, English and Spanish.
• When the option to show totals is active in the schedule view, these are now included in the timetable printout.
• The “Recurring Shifts Ending Soon” dashboard screen now allows you to extend all shifts in the list with a single click.
• The import of employees by CSV file can now include custom fields. These custom fields can then be visible in the employee’s profile, in employee reports, and be used for payroll file export setups.
• The shift report can now be customized to choose and order the desired columns.

Version 5.1 (March 3rd 2022)

• It is now possible to save schedule templates, resulting in time saved building schedules.You can either save a set of shifts or an individual one as a template. Which can easily be applied to other scheduling periods.
• When creating or modifying shifts, the capacity is now indicated on the location and sub-location selector. This capacity indicates the number of people assigned to shifts that overlap the period of the shift being created or edited.
• A sub-location filter is now available for the hourly, timesheet, and employee views. Sub-locations are now included in various shift reports.
• Custom employee fields are now included in the various shift and employee reports.
• A new replacement report is now available. This report shows the employee being replaced, the replacement and shift information regarding the replacement.
• The detailed shift view now offers the history of shift changes. It shows the modified fields, with the old value and the new value, the person making the modification and the modification date. 
• The budgets panel in the detail shift view is now displayed in a dialog.
• Other improvements and minor fixes

Version 5.0 (February 11th 2022)

• New smart scheduling feature allows scheduling by one of four methods: rotation, seniority, performance and personalized.
• It is now possible to copy/cut and paste selected shifts. This feature offers great flexibility supporting the majority of your use cases.
• Improved multiple selection mode in schedule view. With a single click, it is possible to select all the shifts of the week or of a day.
• In an employee’s file, it is now possible to see a detailed history of the changes made to the employee’s data.
• Adding a premium pay period to an employee’s timesheet now offers a pre-configured premium selector. Reducing the risk of errors on the earning codes.
• The duration selector in the leave request now offers 3.5h and 7h options. Note- You can always enter specific durations without going through the selector.
• In the time view, right-clicking on a shift allows you to perform the following actions: Select, Edit shift, Reassign, Convert to draft, Convert to open shift, Cancel shift and Delete shift.
• Other minor improvements and fixes.

Version 4.7 (January 16, 2021)

• Improved shift creation screen that makes it easier to assign recommended employees based on your company settings.
• In the schedule view, it is now possible to select any set of shifts to perform the following actions: cancel shifts, reactivate shifts, turn into a draft, convert into an open shift and destroy shifts.
•  Administrators can now add or modify employees on Voilà! from a CSV file. This feature is very useful when initially setting up a company.
•  Administrators can now add multiple locations, shifts, positions and leave requests on Voilà! from a CSV file.
• A new version of the Timesheet Summary Report is now available. This report contains overtime information based on your company’s custom overtime rules. It also contains leave requests, expenses and bonuses.
•  It is now possible to erase an employee profile.
• The filename of the various reports now contains filtered information for teams, locations and positions.
•  It is now possible to specify a team, a location or a position to a bonus time period. This addition is used to match the correct earnings codes when exporting to payroll to EmployerD or Nethris.
•  It is now possible to export the payroll report to EmployeurD or Nethris based on a different pay period than the one specified in your company’s settings.

Version 4.6 (December 20, 2021)

• The manager dashboard interface has been improved. Cost statistics have also been added.
• The employee dashboard now offers statistics for 7, 30 or 90 days.
• The hourly view filter now allows you to filter the display of holidays by type of leave.
• The hourly view filter now allows you to filter shifts according to the status of employees linked to these shifts.
• The hourly view filter shows subsets of employees, positions and locations according to the selected teams.
• The grouping of the time view now appears in printing.
• Employees can now create shifts on the web version and not just on the mobile version.
• The punch console now displays the preferred language of the pointing employee.
• The shift icon entered by employees is more visible and present in all views showing those shifts.
• The total shift duration entered by employees is displayed in the schedule view.

Version 4.5 (December 9, 2021)

• It is now possible to get the action menu on a shift by “right clicking” on it in the schedule.
• The print format of the scheduling view has been improved.
• Scheduling view by employee view offers a new compact view to see more employees.
• The shift note is now displayed on the calendar by day view.
• Dragging and pressing Ctrl copies shifts in draft mode in all views.
• The display mode (week, pay period), in the Timesheets view, is saved when navigating to other pages.
• All display modes in the Scheduling view are saved when navigating to other pages.
• In the “Payable” section of the shift detail screen, an indicator shows the reason for an irregularity, such as being outside the GPS range.

Version 4.4  (november 23, 2021)

• In the “Calendar” view under “Schedule”, leave requests remain at the top of the screen.
• It’s now possible to create shifts using a csv file by using the new “Import Shifts” option in the “Schedule” view.
• Old announcements now shows all the messages, not just the first one.
• Correctly show leave requests that overlap the daylight saving time change.
• Administrators can now see, in the employee profile screen, the invitation code to join Voilà.
• Employees can now add a note on a shift. This note is visible to managers and supervisors.

Version 4.3 (november 19, 2021)

• Major user experience improvements in the conversation module.
• Improvements on corporate ads. It’s also now possible to attach questions in polls.
• Visual improvements to the information displayed in the “To Pay” section on a shift detail.
• The shift report now contains a new “note” column.
• Spontaneous premiums are no longer applied to previous shifts when copying weekly ones
• When exporting a timesheet, if the account is associated with an external partner, this partner is now preselected in the menu, thus avoiding bad operations.
• Time clock adjustments allow you to punch on break for the second consecutive shift of the day.
• There are now two corporate settings to allow time entry and shift creation by employees.
• In the scheduling view, it is now possible to choose how to display the shifts covering two days: on the first day and the following day, the first day or second day only.

Version 4.1 (October 19, 2021)

• It’s now possible to export a csv or excel report of your employees.
• For HUMI customers, it’s now possible to configure your account to sync Humi employees onto Voilà!.
• For businesses that don’t have  a payroll partner, the cumulative vacation request is adjusted automatically when the approved vacation request expires.
• A new parameter is used to block replacement requests on a shift if the time between the date of the request and the start of the shift is greater than the minimum time specified in the new parameter.
• A new setting has been added to prevent employees from making vacation requests.
• The date selections between the time and timesheet are now synchronized. If you change the date in one view, the same date will be applied in the other view.
• We now offer a public API to get general or requested time off from employees.
• You can now deactivate an employee from the employee file.
• When the browser is refreshed in the schedule and timesheets page, the selected date is kept.

Version 3.20 (June 18, 2021)

Smart punch launch:

• When “Automatic punching of consecutive shifts” is enabled on the company settings, employees with multiple scheduled shifts can now punch in at the start of the day and punch out at the end of the day. It’s no longer necessary to point the entry and exit of each shift.
• New setting allows companies to control smart adjustment of breaks.
• New company parameter allows you to automatically clock the exit of the shifts in case employees forget.
• New company parameter allows you to indicate if the tolerance is paid between consecutive shifts.
• It’s now possible to define paid breaks on a shift. These breaks can be logged by the employee.

The web punch console includes:

• A new visual signature.
• Improved and simplified entry of point data.
• Now supports logging in paid breaks.

• Adding an employee on a supervisor’s team is no longer applicable if the supervisor doesn’t manage the employee in the system.
• The various team, position and location selectors used in the company settings are now filtered according to the supervisor’s teams.
• A manager can now relocate employees between the teams they manage.
• Improved option to re-edit a time entry.
• It’s now possible to navigate directly to the screen detailing the time entries via 2 shortcuts in the pop-up window displaying an employee’s shifts.

• An employee’s timesheet now displays a week’s worth of time entries on the same page.

• Reports are now exportable in Excel (xls) format.

• An employee can now delete a non-validated time entry made by their manager.
