Not long ago, a customer asked the following question:
“When employees change their availabilities on Voilà!, does it affect upcoming shifts?”
The answer: No.
Employees remain responsible for their assigned shifts.
If for whatever reason, they can’t cover their shift, they need to create a replacement request.
If a manager creates new shifts, then Voilà! will present the list of available and qualified employees.
The manager will also be able to access the employee list and Voilà! will indicate the reason behind an employee not being recommended.
From there, a manager can force an assignment based on the reasons indicated.
When employees make themselves more available then all upcoming open shifts will be offered to them.
